Leonardo “Tunico” – Turtle escapes

Turtle escapes
There are those who use the all-fours position to attack, baiting opponents to surprise them with unexpected traps. It’s a strategy that has proven effective for some, but it certainly doesn’t fit everybody’s game. The defensive aspects of the position, however — those are universal. Every fighter must know techniques to protect themselves when they are on all fours, and also to safely move on to other positions, or even to counter-attack if there’s an opening in the midst of the transitions. That is what Rolles Gracie, Leo Tunico and Shawn Williams teach on this Jiu-Jitsu classes. Pay attention to all the details revealed by them, and never be unprepared for attacks from the back.
